Compare this Mamiya shot of Doug with the previous one taken with my 5D Mark II. He's a good subject but my heart stays with Dianne (one more previous click)

The Mamiya, using a digital back, was tethered via firewire to a Mac running Capture One software. The good news about that is the result showed up on the computer screen for all to see. The bad news was it required a reset buttin on the camera which kept the connection for only five seconds setting a limit on how fast to fire the shutter.

I prefer working untethered so I can move around more and "take the shot" when it appears. That said, I thought this Mamiya shot came out well.
