Winter in San Diego

Rancho Bernardo, CA

This is a photo you won’t be writing home about, but perhaps that is because you are already home! ;-)

It is my quick attempt to share a rare event here … rain coming down in sheets. No complaints … we need it badly. And I’m still recovering from my bout with the flu, so opening my front door and taking the shot was a real accomplishment! ;-) Cheers to all.

Robin, you don't have to shovel it! Isn't there a song "It Never Rains In Southern California"? That really is raining in sheets! Alka Seltzer Cold and Flu does it for me!

That grass looks like it needed some rain. Wishing you a speedy recovery so you can get out and about again..:>

Makes a change for the rain to be there rather than here :o) Poor you, I had the flu before xmas and it really knocked me for 6. Hope you recover quickly.

The image tells the story.
Get well soon.

Enough rain to start some flooding in the street!
Hope you start to feel better soon.

Stay inside...I hear it lasts 5-7 days! Take care and glad you are finally getting some much needed rain!

It was raining pitchforks and hammer handles here this afternoon for a while and there was even some hail. I haven't turned on the sprinklers or needed top up the pool since before christmas. Hope you feel better soon.

Nice shot with the flu--no shake to the hands. I saw on the weather channel that you were having lots of rain.
