I made a fascinating discovery searching the Internet looking for relatives. Emmett Killian was my Mother’s brother and my god-father. To my great surprise his name came up as being the architect of the Salida Colorado public golf course. Knowing that he had been a golf pro in his younger days, I stopped by that course last week and found a newspaper article (below) on the wall which confirmed that information! This shot is the Par 5, 525 yard 1st hole.
