Grazing in the Sangres

Westcliffe Area, CO

I’m visiting my sister and my brother-in-law at their cabin on slope of Spring Mountain in the Sangre de Cristo range. This meadow, below their place, is at about 8,500 feet. This part of Colorado is not well known and it is an absolutely lovely area.

Lovely scene, Robin. That is why it is still so lovely; it is not well known and no one to pollute it and fill it with concrete.

The Sangre de Cristos end up in my hometown of Santa Fe .... but look very different, less jagged.
