A variety of rough hewn natural textures here, the corrugated barks, the evergreens, the dried needles on the ground and on the rough hewn little bench or stepping stool and then --- surprise! -- a finished white bird house all smooth and rectangular with one single leaf stuck on its frame as though it is a commemorative medallion. Somebody was in this forest!
