This is a really simple yet tasty preparation.
Trim sprouts, place in casserole having tight-fitting lid.
(Select small to medium size sprouts, large won't cook consistently.)
Add juice of one lemon and pats of butter, and freshly ground black pepper. Shake to distribute.
Cover tightly and place in 375 - 400 degree oven for 15 - 25 minutes,
shaking once or twice throughout cooking to redistribute juices.
Check for doneness with fork starting at 15 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
Has a sweet yet tart flavor, even good enough to "convert" those brussels sprout hating folks.
