Thanks Joy. This is the same family as Yellow-hooded Blackbird, which also occurs in the Amazon, but it is a seperate species.

Gorgeous picture !! Is there another name for this bird ie the yellow headed blackbird? I saw this oriole while visiting in the Amazon a couple of weeks ago A beauty! I am in Manitoba CAnada and we have a similar bird the Yellow headed blackbird whose characteristaic are similar
