I have several of these "azulejos" in my garden in Cali. They eat predominantly insects. They love moths!

este pajaro se llama azulejo estan en el eje cafetero y me recuerdan mi niñez, cuando mi abuela les ponia platano maduro sobre los cafelales,que alegria regresar a colombia despues de tantos años y verlos de nuevo, ya no tan abundantes pero existen.

EN SAN GIL, se ven de tonalidad mas fuerte. Es frugivoro y le encanta el banano.

SI ESTE ES EL AZULEJO COMUN EL COSTA TAMBIEN RECIBE ESTE NOMBRE. YO CONOSCO OTRA ESPECIE Y ES DE UN COLOR VIOLETA, Y LE DICEN AZULEJO DE POZO

No estoy seguro, pero creo que este pajaro es llamado azulejo comun. En la region donde me crie ( putumayo ) abundaban.
