i LOVE the pheasant, you did a great job with this!!!!!
My son lives in London and is visited regularly by a bird that pinches the squirrels' nuts. It is about the size of a dove/small pigeon has a black beak slightly curved down at the very end, black and white stripes on its head, pink legs, broad black tail, black and white wings with blue and white at the top of them, black smudges from the beak going under the eyes, pink back and body with white underside. If you let me have an e-mail address I will forward to you the pictures he sent me. I live in S. Africa and only have Robert's Birds of Southern Africa. I am not familiar with English/European birds. Can you help?
Awesome gallery here Robert!!
I am visiting England (near Dover) and saw a bird that had a head that looked like that of a pheasant, but it's body was a simple dull brow. I only saw it briefly, but it appeared to be about the size of a pidgeon. Does anyone know what it could have been?
