19-Snow Dome from Summit-looking ne.jpg

Looking north-northeast from the summit there's a lot to see and point out.
Obviously that's Snow Dome with Panic Peak sticking out of it. I usually
slept out on the rocks on Panic Peak when I was on mountain patrol.
Needless to say, but the 360 degree view was incomparable. Through the
gap in the mountains to the north, you see the lights of Victoria, BC on
Vancouver Island at night across the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Below Snow Dome you can see the Blue Glacier arc down the valley. You can
see the lateral morraine where I took the panoramic shot at the beginning of
this gallery. Mt. Mathias stands above the lateral morraine.
