I make 1/2 gallon of lemonade at a time. Many people advise to make lemonade fresh with every glass, but that just doesn’t work for me.
	To make one-half gallon of lemonade I squeeze enough fresh lemons to come up with 2/3 of a cup of lemon juice.
I sweeten the lemonade with pure Grade B maple syrup… you can use Grade A or Grade C but the best results are with Grade B. For one-half gallon I use twelve tablespoons of maple syrup.
	Add to that just a little less than a half of teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Yes, I said cayenne pepper.
Mix this all with one-half gallon of water and there you have it.
	If all of your measurements are right you will barely have to shake this mixture up…. All of the ingredients dissolve well with each other in water.
