I worked @ the Bene. Plant from 1973 til 1982. Oh the joys and sorrows of those days.
The future is when we thank the Good Lord for the things of the past. The past is what guides us through the future. And it is all good.
I just took a trip through the Gallery of the mine....... How we loved to hate the mine.and how we hated to leave. We had trama in our Drama!

I absolutely loved the pictures! It has been many years since I have been back to EM. I now live in a small mining community in Northern Idaho. It is so sad for me at Homecoming time, and others, when people return to their hometown, and visit with friends & family. We really have no hometown to return too. I left the desert in August of 1984. I returned for a visit in 1987. It was one of the saddest things I've ever seen. The streets broken & cracked, with weeds popping out, my home boarded up, the beautiful lush green lawns, now brown. The trees on the front lawn no longer there to offer shade from the burning rays of the sun. I loved all of them, thank you very much........ Lynn
