xxxai, masfaizg -- thank you! And Kathy, also thanks very much for paying me the highest compliment possible! gratefully, Mark
Glad to encounter this site during a Google search. I have had 2 of your photographs (Bethesda Angel and Snow Tracks by Mall) framed and hanging in my home(s)since 2004. The "Bethesda Angel" is such a terrific shot; she seems captured on film as if having materialized out of thin air.
Thank you for posting your pictures. They're a great inspiration to me.
Thank you, Waldemar, that is extraordinary and gracious praise! I hope to be posting more pictures sometime soon when I work out the ideas for them, in the meantime I am learning lots by attending photography lectures! best wishes, Mark
I've visited all your galleries in PBase (2 days). They are very beautiful and human pictures. Bravo and Merçi.
Thanks for the nice complements, people, and no, a9q5s5t3, I have never been to Brazil.
my e_mail is email@example.com
Do you know Brazil ?
Unbelievable! Liam O' Keefe
I send "LOVE" of yous, to Mine. Thanks from both
I've heard through channels that you might get nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for your groundbreaking coverage of the NAASC. (But you didn't hear it from me!) Keep shooting and stay cool.
Thanks Blanchard! Someday I will get out to those far-off places. I've heard of them.
Great work' beautiful pictures. I appreciate the opportunity you have given us. Do not forget Brooklyn and Queens. Please check them out as well.
Thanks Rachel! I always appreciate your comments!
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to view your outstanding work. I'll stay on top of this from now on and look forward to much more great stuff. Rachel
Thanks Vince! And as a native Jerseyean, it's a thrill to see your pix of Clinton, Lambertville, Warren, etc...
It'd take a week to check out all your terific galleries and images.
i've earmarked them for further looks. Great work!
First, thanks for your most encouraging words, and for taking the time to look at so many of my pictures!
I think a New York By Neighborhood gallery is a great suggestion; despite being also crammed on this small island, they are so different, such different atmospheres... And the last sentence contain another typical oversight -- NYC is not just Manhattan! Brooklyn is also incredible, and the Bronx ... and there is plenty in Queens and Staten Island too.
I hope to visit the places you suggest and post the results here in coming months...
Mark, excellent work. Most excellent.
But where's the East Village? The Lower East Side? Little Italy? Chinatown? The whole SE of Manhattan is missing. And going the other way, I didn't see a single image of Harlem. (I think the castle was the farthest image north?)
While there's less world-recognizable images to be taken on 168th Street, I'm sure you can capture a beautiful image of something. There is light and shadow, well, everywhere. :)
An "Off The Beaten Path" gallery, perhaps? Just a thought.
Thanks for sharing your vision!!
Hello, I enjoyed your photos.Thx for sharing. :)
Outstanding work. Pictures are full of atmosphere, and I love how you frame those shots, too... great.
Looking at these images, I can't wait to get back to NYC later this year. Thanks or putting these online.
GS, you seem like person of rare perception, and something tells me you are quite good-looking as well.
Great images. NYCJPG is an excellent homepage. If you've spent time in NYC you'll enjoy visiting the JPG for a daily fix. GS
