The pipes come in 2 halves and then get welded togetther at the boatyard, the trailer for the lorry can be made longer/shorter so i guess it would come on the ferry short and then expand at the boatyard...

How on earth did this get onto the island? Definately not via Colintrive and I couldn't see him negotiating the turn off the Ferry either. Any more McKirdy Truck Pics?
