i also went to the residential school in the 60's for 6 weeks, i remember the football pitch one end higher than the other and we would go on the saturday to the post office to buy our gob stoppers that we gambled away playing 5 stones during the week, and last but no least the digestive biscuits and glass of milk before bedtime..... coby haghill primary school dennistoun glasgow.....

i was there in 1963 for 6weeks and entered for the kinlochruel cross country championships the headmaster entered me in the senior class of runners without my knowledge i was only 14 then and was competing agains proper much older athletes.the athletes came from all over and i didnt even know what way to go i just kept up with the rest of the field of runners untill the final stretch and kicked in and won the race my only running competition to this day .to this day its my best achievement in sport and i can only thank the headmaster at the school for having faith in me

hello spent 2 periods at residential school in colintraive loved every minute i was there the only thing i hated was long walk back from church every sunday been back a few times brings back a lot good memory's sorry 2 c the old school been sold thank,s for the photo,s
