A very nice collection of pics of great Citroën AMIs. Our club was recently visited by a couple from France who have driven their AMI 8 through Africa on a couple of occasions and were on a trip through Australia - 22 000km in three months. We had the last RHD AMI 6 saloon in the the UK - It was the first of our Citroens to have the CV2 registration number. Although it was a a 2CV with a different body, it always felt like a big car and took the family from the UK to Oberammergau and back in 1970.

I Am one off the owners of those Citroens, Ami6 and ami8.

The oldest one dates from 1963...............so I the they are classic......

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder;- they're certainly beautiful to me. A red letter day when you spot one of these in Australia. One or two have made ther way down here.

Citroens are so stylish in a strange sort of way! Can't see my favourite the 2CV or are they not classed as classic yet.
