Similar boats(Dhows) used to sail southwards along the coast of the Arabian Peninsula,past Aden ,into the Indian Ocean,& then along the Somali Coast,'Kenya' coast,Tanzania, right upto Beira/Sofala(Mozambique), pushed by the N.E Monsoons. When the Monsoon Winds reversed,blown by the SW Monsoon,they used to return to the Straits of Hormuz.Brilliant Sailors!
