Many Bulls fans (myself included) thought this could be a breakout season. We had a senior quarterback and while we lost most our offensive line the rest of the team looked promising. We lost our senior QB the third game of the season (against a Sub division team) and had to go with a red shirt freshman the rest of the year. After our first game with BJ Daniels everything looked great. He had a fairy tail like game to return home (Tallahassee) to beat the 'Noles. Unfortunately after that (and a lackluster win against Syracuse) the Bulls returned to their old standard of laying down and dying to the rest of the Big East. They had a chance to redeem themselves when they played Miami at home in front of over 65,000 fans but were hopelessly out classed by a much better team. With one more regular season game left against what looks to be a much better Connecticut team and probably a very low profile bowl game we can only look forward to next year and hope they can get their act together.
