This same pair of Mallards stop by every year (for the last three years) to visit us before heading up north for the summer and breading. They usually come early in the evening when the lighting is not very good for shooting. Today they came early in the afternoon to give me a chance to use my new 400mm lens so I rewarded them with some bread:).
