It's September and that means the Magnolia seeds are starting to ripen which means the Woodpeckers will (hopefully) be here soon. Our first visitor this season. While it was really nice of him (this is a male) to be out in the open for me (usually they bury themselves deep in the tree and its hard to get a unobstructed shot) the lighting wasn't real good and I had to jack up the ISO.
