This is my first visit to your site, and I sit here in St. Louis charmed nearly out of my chair. The reptile/amphibion gallery is one of the finest I've ever seen, with its magical images of both the delicate small creatures and the awesome prehistoric ones -- all intertwined and an integral part of the watery world of your surroundings.
This picture moves me a lot: I know the miniscule size of tree frogs and to see the landscape reflected in this green one's jewel-like eye is incredible. Also, the pose suggests the daily reality of such an edible tidbit: an alert stillness and craning to look at what might be a predator (you?) This is almost an action shot! Thank you for sharing such superlative images of what you have noticed around you.
I look forward to seeing the rest of your pictures, and am going to add you as a favorite artist, in the introduction of my pictures (pbase.com/seetheeearth/galleries) so that others can find you more readily.
