THE REPTILES AND AMPHIBIANS OF LOUISIANA



A gallery of images of the Amphibians and Reptiles that make South Louisiana their home. All images taken with my Nikon 300mm f/4d ED-IF lens and a set of Kenko extension tubes. A tripod was used for all shots. As a preference I shoot ambient light but fill flash is used on occasion. Please click on "ORIGINAL SIZE" when viewing any of my images, thanks.

Great Photos! My six year old daughter is fascinated by the lizards inhabiting her backyard in Mandeville, the photos remind her of her buddies outside!

Beautiful shots! Tha anole take me back to growing up in New Orleans. I've been shooting the flora of WNC for so long I forgot how beautiful the fauna of southern louisiania could be. Thanks for the fantastic shots!
