June 2008

Abby and Jackson Metcalfe and their father Ron Metcalfe made their 6th, 4th, and 13th hike to LeConte Lodge and spent the night on Tuesday, June 17th. The weather was a nearly perfect as you could hope for, and the visibility was outstanding for mid-June. The high temperature was 60° and the low was 35°.

We ascended the Alum Cave Bluff trail, starting at 8:30 AM and arriving at the lodge at 12:30 PM.
