Abby, Jackson, and Ron Metcalfe made their 8th, 5th, and 16th hikes to Mt. LeConte to spend the night at LeConte Lodge on July 27-28, 2009.

I am hiking up alum cave trail to Mt Leconte Lodge with 3 girlfriends (we are middle aged women!) October 23 and your pictures give us inspiration and courage!

Ron I am ging back in March 2010 I hope. In March 2008 I day hiked Ranbow falls trail to the falls. Trail was temp closed due to fallen trees to Leconte. I the hiked down and went to Alum cave trail head and hiked to Alm cave. I decided to desend as i was very tierd. I will make top of Leconte this next March. Nice pictures.

ron, once again a wonderful set of pix of your hike to the lodge with your family. ` the pix are wonderful, makes me want to get back tp the great smokies and hike to the lodge again. i do think renee said it best.
