Colorful Santa Fe and New Mexico

Some photos are from the Taos Native American Pueblo, near the town of Taos, that is considered to be the oldest continuously inhabited community in the US; it was constructed between 1000 and 1450 AD. The buildings are made entirely of adobe, a mixture of earth, straw, and water, then poured into forms. After the bricks are sun dried, they're stacked and bonded together with the same adobe mixture. Walls are often several feet thick.

Hi Ron- Good photographers are good photographers regardless of the camera in their hands, however as a fellow ZS3 owner I have to concur with your ideas. It is one heck of a camera and churns out excellent quality photos and 400 ISO an below. Sad to say the flash is pretty poor like many other camera makers,but the available light capability is so good the flash sometimes is only a hindrance. Thanks for sharing your great photos. Ray
