This is four hours later than the cemetery shots. I had a 'gut feeling' there was going to be a parting of clouds at sunset even though it had rained and snowed all day. I headed out west towards the Bear River Bird Refuge to see if I could catch a sunset. I took this picture looking east towards Brigham City, Utah about 8 miles away. The clouds were lifting but not clearing to the east, but I though the effect was neat. You can see how the snow came all the way to the valley floor close to the mountains. Further west where I was located it was only rain. If you look close--just right of center about 1/4 of the way up from the bottom of the photo you can see how Brigham City is located on a hill/rise where the snow had begun to melt and you can see the warmer ground.
