The Sun at my back was still 20 minutes from setting, but a huge cloud bank in the western sky began to hide the Sun and take away her colors. Instead of going through the natural progression of oranges and reds, the blue coldness returned as the sky began to darken. It was really getting cold and difficult to operate the camera without wearing gloves.
