Winfield Festival 2011--Everything but the Sink!!

There was fantastic weather, there was cold weather, there was dry weather, and there was nasty weather. Friday and Saturday night's weather really slowed the stages and in some ways, the party didn't really get going------------------and even though it was the 40th anniversary----------- it's still all about the music and the people, and there was no shortage of that.
I've been capturing images at the festival for some time now and used to think it was the crowd that drove the energy, but alas it's not. It's the wild, crazy, dedicated, talented, appreciative, and lively individual lovers of acoustical music that turn the wheel and make the festival what it is.
Every type is there, and you gotta love it/them---see ya next year----ron s.
