LOL...nope...didnt have access to one...actually didnt set the date and time when I first had it...so it was about 2 weeks ago for me too. This was me testing the water tightness of the camera. Thanks for ALL your kind comments. Roman

oops, forgot to mention the picture :) this is an amazing shot from behind a waterfall. I can feel the mist from here :)) Makes me want to go back to some of my DVD's to search out more of my waterfall pictures from last year, but none would be like this one.

hmm just noticed the date stamp on this says Feb 2007. Did you have access to purchasing or testing the D300 before many of us? :)
