Thanks Marco,

For my NEF (I only shoot RAW) I like to use CaptureNX. It is the ONLY software that seems to read everything I carefully dial into my camera. I putput to TIFF, and open in photoshop for some minute curves and thats about it.

I have tried lightzone, but it seems to get a bit in my way, or I am just not in the right mindset to use it, but looking like Capture will be my tool of choice.

Never heard of the Re-light tool.....will google it and see what your talking about.

Thanks again!!!

Just look at details, the light, the sharpness. Just amazing.

Thanks everyone....I was worried on this visit with all the fires in the area (controlled burns) and actually found the light to be quit diffrent but not bad because of it. Clarity was the only thing that was lacking.

Great light... Reserved yet perfectly underlying the composed nature of the monolith...
