This is awesome! I love your old film shots! I agree with Alexander, will the shots of today give this romantic feeling 40 years from now? It's hard to think they will.

like the opening shot from a great movie - gorgeous! (I'm wondering: can photos taken now look this romantic in 40 years? Or will what we've got now never be regarded as being this special)

This is a magical shot Roland. I will have to walk down W.69th the next time i'm in the city to see the changes. The upper west side had so much more character before it became gentrified. BV!

Yes, to smell that air again, feel that life and be young again, living and working in Manhattan - this photo was taken from my apartment, the 12th floor while Roland lived in the same building on the 2nd floor. Probably the best two years of my life were spent there and I have wonderful memories.
