Some titles of the photos are sometimes misleading. The key are the pictures 7 and 8 on page 4. They are frontside and backside of an envelope for a pack of 24 photographs made from aboard LZ 127. The backside explains what is seen on this 24 photos which are the 24 photos on pages 1 and 2 in this gallery, each with a reference number in the lower right corner. The big cities shown in these picture are American cities like Philadelphia, Washigton and New York. Interestingly the author assumes these places to be in Germany ...

The "port" on the postcard in picture 3 on page 3 is the town Fridrichshafen at Lake Constance, the home town of all Zeppelins. The postcard in picture 2 on page 4 shows Lake Constance (South is at the top). The arrow directs you to Friedrichshafen at its shore. The postcard in picture 5 on page 4 shows sailing boats on the Lake Constance.
