Looks like a Gyromytra, likely G. esculenta, not necessarily recommended for eating as the name "esculenta" implies. My source (Matchmaker Mushrooms of the Pacific Northwest - Free download), talks about it being dangerously poisonous raw, but no mention if it can be eaten cooked.
