Science Fiction near Rotterdam

Just west of Rotterdam, between the city(port) and the (North)sea there is a vast industrial area. It is called Europoort and it lies in mostly manmade land, the "Maasvlakte". It is full of petrochemical industry, huge windmills, electricity towers and things like that. I tried to look at through my camera with a sense of amazament: is this real or SF?..

Rob, I admire your ability to make expressive photographs in an industrial place. Most people would overlook such opportunities, but you found the beauty and intrigue there.
