Moonbow at lower Yosemite Fall

Moonbow at lower Yosemite Fall

This was a time exposure taken after dark (around 9:30 PM), with the rising moon just coming over the south side of the valley.
The falls aren't as big as normal for this time of year, so the mist was a bit sparse, and so the rainbow wasn't as vivid as it could be.
Still a pleasant way to end a day in Yosemite Valley.

What a great experience!

That's very interesting to take a photo at 9:30pm and have it exposed like this.

I really like this... not just the rainbow, but the ominous feel of the rocks in contrast to the softness of the water and rainbow. Well done!
