Been to a bunch of Live Oaks, and seen Molly's Revenge a bunch of times. But this particular gig was very very special.
Something in the combination of the late-night good vibe, David's choice of the louder Highland pipes, amplified by the low ceiling and concrete floors.... and of course the great, happy, complementary energy of Molly's Revenge and Live Oak added up to lots more than the sum of the parts.
I've talked to many people who were at this gig, and every one of them remembers it pretty much as I do. Definitely a night to remember.
