I agree, it really offers a lot of chance to capture interesting scene.
This one has a dramatic mood due to the strong contrast you chose to apply, it has a little distressing, but at the same time appealing beauty.
I love the feeling of age with this pp work. I think the human figures add a lot.
But I'm not keen on the selected colour, just don't think it adds much.
I read about this pier since you posted an image of it earlier. It is a very special one.
