A re-visit to the Monkey Puzzel tree this time armed with the black coat as shown.
The idea was to isolate the top to bring out the shape without any distracting background.
It works but looks a little floaty, as if in the air .
The shot was then edited to make the coat darker. That way dissapearing the coat and material folds from view.
The coat also stopped me from being cut , its so easy to come away bleeding from this razor sharp plant.
More results later.
It was a way of trying out the 10 to 20mm lens as this is not a macro shot really.
I did like the in your face menace of the sharp spines.
