Since the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum was re-named the National Museum of the United States Air Force, Iive been trying to create a cohesive Pbase gallery for it. There is now a total of four hangers, plus a missile silo. This has definitely become a two-day museum.
Located on the Wright Patterson Air Force base near Dayton Ohio, this is the largest collection of aircraft in the world (over 300). The museum now includes four hangers seen here, a missile silo, A restoration area on the base (only accessible on special tours), and an outdoor exhibit.
This Gallery is an ongoing attempt to portray the museum as a whole. My galleries are named, and populated as they are at the museum. They appear here, in the actual Museum Gallery in which they were originally photographed. Some aircraft have, over the years resided in different hangers, so they may appear in multiple galleries here.
