The Jefferson City, Missouri Parks and Recreation Department with the key assistance of Joe Wilson, founder and president of "Man's Best Friend" (a dog rescue organization) established the North Jefferson City Dog Park in late 2005. The Park was recently expanded so there is now a separate adjacent Dog Park for small dogs. The Park is available for all dogs on a daily basis, however, a user permit is required. Same is obtainable at the Jefferson City Parks and Recreation Dept. office located at 427 Monroe Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101. To obtain the user permit one must bring proof from your veterinarian that your dog has been neutered and rabies vaccinated. The permit fee is $24.00 per year per dog, prorated at $2.00 per month for partial year.

These dog park sub-galleries contain miscellaneous snapshots of various 'members of the pack', both frequent and occasional, (and their chauffeurs). Most photos were reduced by about 90% from original size in order to speed uploading. This obviously greatly reduces their quality.
