One can see many different birds in Florida but the most impressive are the water birds.
Living in New York City all my life, and seeing mostly wrens and pigeons, I'm still amazed when I see herons, storks, hawks, or other large birds flying by.
Common Moorhen
Moorhen Adult
Young Moorhens
Kind of "plain" looking
Like the ducks, they enjoy toasted oats
Off and running- oat in mouth
White Ibis
Unfortunately I didn't get close enough to capture their bright blue eyes
One morning I encountered an Ibis invasion
The day before, three came. They must have liked what they found...
So they brought the whole gang.
The immature White Ibis has brown feathers
I counted 29 of them. They left at night and came back every morning for a week
Great Blue Heron
Motionless
Watching
Impressive sight
Tri-Colored Heron at a swamp area.
Green-backed Herons are small and very shy.
Anhinga with it's catch
Releasing the Fish
Wing Spread
PeaHen

Grackles
Grackle
At MacDonalds, I tossed a french fried potato to a Grackle
Fun photos. Thanks for sharing. rs

I need a picture of a Guinea Hen...looks similar to the Pea Hen, but this bird is beige brown. If you have one, would you please send it to me? Thanks.

Your style sheet is also very tastfully done. Could you help me setup
a style sheet like yours?
