I live in Melbourne Australia, and my in-laws are from Agoo, La Union. I visited them in January 2009 for a couple of weeks, and did some sightseeing in the family jeep. One day we visited Lingayen and drove along the beautiful beach. It sure is a beautiful place. I look forward to going back one day.

Ipinanganak ako sa Lingayen at lumaki sa Damortis La Union. Minsan kulang napuntahan ang Lingayen noong ako'y mga 8 years old. Dadalhin ko ang aking pamilya sa Lingayen sa darating na December at ako'y nagagayak sa mga comments tungkol sa Lingayen. Anak ako ni Trinidad Cruz Mabuti na ang pamilya ay nakatira sa 'town center'. hello kabaleyan ko, just git back home last from our beloved town,Lingayen,,life comes and go ,but memories will always the same..Im a product of Lingayen I Central School(batch 82)and PNHS (batch 86),,my fond memories is recess time,we got to nana abing to buy tambo-tambong and nana purit and nana paz for kamote-que..and also CAT..its always nice to elong in the upper section..always the CA.hehehe ..btw..PNHS Batch '86,,we will be celebrating our 25th year on 2011.please contact municipal kagawad mangapot..we also have our group website,,also thank you for the pictures,,also,,just participated medical mission at central school .if anyone interested in doig medical and dental mission,please email me at westlandboy@yahoo.com..thank you and mabuhay so lingayen ..

taga lingayen ako. ang saya dun, last month nagbakasyon me dun para maka escape ng konti sa trabaho dito sa manila. ang saya!.kasama ko friend ko na taga quezon city at nag enjoy naman xa. plano namin bumalik sa august sa birthday ng kapatid ko. sana by that time may resort na meron super laking swimming pool kasi mas marami na akong isasama na taga ibang lugar to my home town.

ang ganda na talaga sa lingayen, sa april 30 babalik kam dun, at punta ng may 1 sa lingayen bech kasi fiesta ng dagat, at fiesta naman sa lugar namin ng may 2, sa solis street, street batawag dun? hehe.. excited na ko bumaik ng lingayen =)

lived and stayed in lola's house in maniboc in my early years.violet kaimito in front of the house,play with lots of cousins where you can eat and sleep anywhere.seems everybody in the baranggay is your relative aye. the smell of the bagoong pervades the air until pangapisan.no matter.tsokolate and pingka , tons of mangoes, corn and peanuts.linggo lingo may kinakasal kasama si lola libre ang kain may baon pa.talyasi ang lutuan . agay latan!!! mga uncle ko matatanda na at retired puro tong-its na lang pusta ay barya.simple lang ang buhay.will be visiting lingayen again before the end of the year from new zealand.dadaan muna sa binmaley para bumili ng talaba, then buhay na hipon tumatalon pa at siyempre pakbetat bagoong at purong patis.haaay saraaap ng buhay. danny boy

Excellent shot!! Miss ko na ang Lingayen Lalo na those early days sa PSAT at PSU ....kakain sa ilalim ng puno ng acacia or sa malapit sa Lingayen Beach sa mga puno ng Niyog nung hindi pa ginawa Narciso Ramos Oval .... Miss ko na rin ung mga close friends at close realatives ko jan ...like Ate Ingkoy,Kuya Dods,Inoyski (jesus),Ching, Atse Blessilda,Atse Rose,saka si Minda(Arminda) - ala na ako balita sa kanila but still pag may time bibisitahin ko sila....much of the basketball court na pinaglalaruan ko jan sa sa roque chapel na na remodel na he he ...musta na lang sa mga insan ko jan kina mama kulas,mama gil ...he he ....oo

I first visited Lingayen in 1977. I spent two weeks, and enjoyed it so much that I returned the following year for the whole summer of 1978. My last visit was in 1987, when I returned with my wife. It was such a beautiful place at that time, and I am glad to see that not much has changed. On observation of mine was that for such a lovely beach, there were so few locals taking advantage of it.

There is no better place like home!!! Bangon la Mano! 5:30 in the morning, tie on our shoe laces and set up for a jog. Kapaway mod abong, sus! Fresh breeze of the morning, you can smell the dews & the sun is peeping out, rays of it striking thru the holes of the leaves of acacias, birds chirping & a pot pot ya pan de sal! Oops!!! Kabwasan ed sikayo bae, lola is going to church Boulevard, a nice long way to jog on (renovated on 2007). A'last seen the capitol grounds, beside are pine trees. You can see the big Capitol bldg., Malong, Urduja. Tanks, airplane, cannon. Niman lay dayat! Nice sand, jog uli along the shore, oooppss my aso, slow down a bit, these dogs ain't afraid sa water. They even play together with the children in the water. Rest, see the sunshine rise, breath the see breeze. Families coming walking or with their bike & sidecare. So quiet & simple and life so pure! MISS KO LAY LINGAYEN!!!

Born in Dagupan, I've spent my young childhood with my grandfather in Lingayen going to the beach. I can vividly recall riding on WWII U.S. tanks on display back then (early 70's) along the shores. I've since been living in the U.S. but I never forgot those moments as a kid. I did return several times in the last 15 years and each trip is a very special moment of my life. Plan to take my next trip there in 2009.

I will be going to Lingayen in the end of May and I can't wait. I haven't been there for almost 12 years. I was born in Lingayen and although I was brought up in the states I can never forget my place of birth.

I was in the 38th Bomb Group camped on the south edge of the beach in February to April of 1945. I flew several missions from the airstrip. I always regarded that beach as the most beautiful beach I had ever walked on. Your pictures are beautiful - the kind I like to take. I have lived in southern California all my life. We have beautiful beaches here. I live in the foothills north east of San Diego and love taking scenic pictures and wild flowers, sunrises and sunsets. Lingayen was the first place of civilization we had been in for many many months. I would love to be able to come back to your area for a visit but that is highly unlikely at my age. It's really nice to see the place where I was born and grew up (LINGAYEN). My husband and my two kids love the place so much, especially the beach and the weather, as we live in a very cold place (UNITED KINGDOM). So every time we have a special occasion sa Lingayen ang handaan. My daughter celebrated her 7th birthday party at the Lingayen Gulf Resort last April. Elena Bancod is my friend and classmate during high school. MAALIGUAS LINGAYEN. SEE U AGAIN.

Lingayen is my lovely place and I was born and lived their for 40 years, just got here in the US to marry my loving man , who is my husband now.He loves the place (Lingayen Gulf) so much and planned to retire in that beautiful hometown in two years time from now.Those are nice pictures of the Lingayen Gulf and our Lady of Manaoag Church in Manaoag, Pangasinan.He also been to that church.Actually my beloved husband has been to 8 churches in Pangasinan.My husband who posseses a good character and I always loved Lingayen.Thanks for posting those beautiful photos which reminds us all here about it.

Im from Dagupan City, my last visit was 13 years ago but the 1st one was 1983 after a year here and i took some pix of the beautiful sunset of Lingayen from a visit to a friends house so sad though i couldnt find the pix now..but you took an excellent shot of how beautiful and calming pix,bringing back memories when i used to visit my boyfriend in Lingayen (back then) ahhh...i can see that ill be coming back soon to Pangasinan...Good Job!!

Lingayen ... ahhhhhh! A sleepy town when I left you years ago but the roar of the waves from the beach rocking me gently to sleep at night, the unhurried calesa rides from the plaza to my grandma's house, the highly anticipated free weekend movies at the plaza, the delicious smell of the roasted turkey in the open pit, the sweet huge kaimitos, guavas, duhat we handpicked from the trees ... are pleasant memories that beckon my heart to come and visit you again - if only in my mind. Thank you for the beautiful pictures!

It was a brilliant idea for you to post those photos...you may not imagine how much you could make someone happy. Well, you remind me of myself when i was a child. I used to go with my Kuya helping those fishermen pulling rope(see bayanihan)then at the end we get some shares of fishes to bring home for dinner or lunch for the family. Although life was not easy that time, but my heart always belongs to lingayen...and always dream to go back there, although here in abroad is more comfortable and luxury. I love to see more photos to show my husband and my kids the place i grew up with...God Bless You...

i lived 31 years in LINGAYEN, and im here in Massachusetts with my loving husband, and we love Lingayen very much, and got married in that lingayen gulf, the best part of Lingayen, by the Mayor Ernesto "Jonas" C. Castaneda, and my husband uncle was a US Veteran who was there in Lingayen during World War II, and then return to Lingayen at 80's to visit and was invited by the government, the Malvey's and Muldoon's love LINGAYEN, we love to see more latest picture please, gob bless!

I truly appreciate these pictures. I haven't seen home for over 15 years. From Italy, Germany, Luxembourg, France, England, Belgium, Nederlands, USA, Korea, Japan and Okinawa...all these years and all these places...still my heart goes home to Lingayen....
