3rd Manila Jazz Festival

It was a night of intense jazz music... lots of red wine and of course, lovely ladies. First to set the stage was the Jewelmer Jazz Band playing their concuction of latin jazz and 70s swing jazz. Next was Subconcept, a group of young jazz buffs struting their stuff with funk and acid jazz. Johnny Alegre Affinity band did their stuffs both covers and from their new self titled album from Candid Records. Satya was soulful and Jaime Oehler's Quartet was AWESOME (Intense Sax)!!

Where was Johnny Torres, the pianist?

Nice collage of pictures. I am trying to address the jazz scene from Ohio. Where can I sit in, I own a jazz club here in the states. I will be in Manila in Jan. I have a vintage drum kit in Manila. would like to grove with learned jazz musicians.
