Mark received a Invitation to have his car displayed inside in the "Invitational Only" Building "T" at The 2010 Carlisle All Chrysler Nationals show in Carlisle, Pa. Each year the Staff at Carlisle Events, selects approximately 50 of the best Chrysler Products, for all vintages, to display their vehicle inside Building "T". This year, Mark's 1993 Dodge Daytona was selected.
Mark's 93 Daytona came from the factory as a Daytona ES with a 2.5L TBI, Automatic with Charcoal Gray interior. This Daytona is now a 2.5L Turbo with a Small Spline A568, 5 speed Trans. with a Spearco Front Mount Intercooler with CO2 Spray across the Intercooler, a FWDPerformance Stage 5, SBEC-II ECU, Devils Own Progressive Alcohol injection system, +40% Injectors with a GM 3 Bar Map Sensor.
The complete Interior was swapped from the Charcoal Gray to a Black Leather interior out of a 90 Daytona, with Black Leather Summit Racing front seats. The Back seat is completed removed to make room for the C02 Bottle and Stereo Equipment and the Battery was moved to the rear trunk area. The 5 Speed Shifter is a Custom Made JRS Short Throw Shifter with Poly Shifter Bushings.
The Exterior paint is approximately 25% Original Factory Paint. 3/4 of the body was repainted at different times due to accident or as a result of custom work. The front fascia was modified to remove the Cross piece to permit greater air flow for the intercooler. The rear taillights were modified by Mark to remove the original Red reflector glass that is inside the smoked clear exterior, then he installed L.E.D. tail and brake lights. The suspension is Eibach lowering springs in the rear with KYB front struts and rear shocks. The wheels are Crager Euro Star 17" with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires.
