Jackson Simler's 91 Shelby Daytona, TIII, A568 5 Speed
Jackson bought this car 12/05 in St. Petersburg, Fl. When he got it,it was a completely stock 91 Daytona Shelby with the 2.5 8valve turbo. It was a 568 car and had light grey interior that was used up from the Florida sun as was the paint. Jackson has done a complete ground up restoration on this car and it is a LOT better than when it came off the line NEW. Especially with that awesome TIII Power. VERY nice workmanship it this beauty!
He found himself a 91 Spirit R/T that had been rolled over and used that for the TIII engine and SBEC. The trans is actually the stock unit out of the Daytona with a crank sensor hole drilled for use with the TIII. He rebuild both the motor and trans and powdercoated most everything on and around them. Heres the list of some aftermarket parts on the car
