I spent 3yrs 9mos at Etain and married a French girl 52 years ago. The photos bring back many memories at Etain. Been back 4 times and went to AB. All was gone except 561st hanger which was used for French helicopter unit. I really enjoyed my stay at the base and correspond with some who was at the base. Was ther from Mar56 to Dec59.
