SNORKEL DAY @ MAEDA POINT...approximately 100 feet from the side, the water goes from 4 to 6 feet deep to 100 feet plus. It's awesome when you get to the edge, the temperature plummets right away and there's the eerie sense that all kinds of creatures are out there, including some that considers us "Happy Meal". All in all, we saw a lot different, multi-colored fish and sea creatures. :-)
