Very cool! I like how gelatinous they look inside. That's a surprise.
I feel your pain learning how to use a Monopod. I've not mastered mine. I'm very wobbly with it still. How in the world will you hold it the press the shutter release button and hold your speedlight in the other hand!?! I feel so much more secure with the tripod.
Now that's multi-tasking. :)
