Immensely popular Karnak in modern day Luxor was part of the ancient city of Thebes. It is the largest ancient religious site in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Karnak was constructed over many years by many different Pharaohs.

One of the most famous parts of Karnak is the 134 columned Hypostyle Hall built in the 13th Century B.C.E.
