Cucuteni Neolithic Art Museum, Romania

This museum displays finds of the neolithic Cucuteni–Trypillian culture (c. 5200 to 3500 BC)
It would appear to me that there are many similarities with sumerian culture, including the emphasis on the female form.
Settlements were burnt (for unknown reasons) at regular intervals of about 70 years, and often rebuilt on the same site.
